In DBmarlin v2.4 which is now available, we made several improvements to the handling of very long statements.

  1. On the statement list view you can see more of the text as a tooltip which pops up so you know which statement it is before clicking into it.
  2. On the statement screen we have removed the previous limit so it will display the full statement however long it is.
  3. We have added the copy to clipboard option for all SQL statements.
  4. We have improved the SQL formatting, particularly for SQL Server where you sometimes go extra spaces added.

Hi Gabriele,

We have a ticket on our backlog to increase the cutoff for the long statements and I will see if we can push it into the next release.

Do you know how long (line count and character count) your longest statements are?

Imagine the worst case 😀 because the statements are generated in dot.net framework by using CodeFirst
