It would be nice to be able to test my connection settings while creating (or editing) my instance configuration.
Right now, you set the settings. Save your changes and then have to go out to the instances list and try and run it, hoping it might work.
Took me a bit to figure out that I needed to write out an extended connection string to turn on encryption and trust my server certificate. Would have been nice to interactively test and troubleshoot from error messages in the configuration screen
